As part of the Sunshine and a Plate food festival, Harcourts Whakatane has donated a very high value auction item – for the highest bid for a donation to Hospice EBoP by this Friday 4pm, they will sell the winners property and charge no commission.

The winner’s bid can be a rural, residential or commercial property. Hospice EBoP fundraising manager Anna Meredith asks that the community spread the word of this offer and consider it themselves. “This is a huge opportunity to have your house sold by experts at a bargain rate. Using top sales agents pays for itself in the outcome of the house sale anyway, but in this case the winner will be able to support Hospice.

The area for sales is limited to area that is serviced by the Whakatane office and there is no time limit on when this can be used, however it cannot apply to a property already listed with Harcourts. The offer is for the sale of any property type.

Peter Bassett, CEO said Hospice EBoP is very grateful for the generous support. “Harcourts have gone above and beyond with their first sponsorship of a Sunshine and a Plate event, providing volunteers for our events, sponsoring the Black & White Ball and now offering their services free of charge to the highest bidder. Their support will make a true difference to the community through the patient care that is funded by their contributions.”

Harcourts offer a full range of real estate services, specialising in residential, commercial, and rural property sales as well as property management services. In 2008 they established the national Harcourts Foundation to provide support that helps, grows and enriches communities. In addition to this they have a specific fund to support Hospices across the country as a national partner.

Keen bidders are urged to send their offer by email to suzie.klar@harcourts.co.nz or deliver to the Harcourts office at 30 Commerce Street by 4pm. The winning bidder will make the donation direct to Hospice and Harcourts will sell their property without charging any commission.
