Ulysses Mountain to Sea for Hospice

The annual Ulysses Mountain to Sea motorcycle ride this year saw great attendance with riders coming from as far as Taupo. Beginning in the Kawerau New World Carpark, they were briefed and took the scenic route to Thornton Holiday park, darting through the beautiful Eastern Bay.

Once the riders finished their journey, they were greeted by Whakatane Ulysses volunteers who had the BBQ going, selling food and raffles, then running an Auction to raise funds for Hospice EBoP.

We think organisers Michael and Greg did a fantastic job, with live music, food and auction, then giving out awards for the oldest rider, youngest rider, furthest travelled, and oldest bike.
